The village of Albanne, at an altitude of 1,600 metres, is located 6 km beyond Les Karellis resort and is connected to Les Karellis resort by the pistes (Albanne button lift-2nd star level). Easy! Restaurant, chalets, inn, church, a typical mountain village.
The village of Montricher, at an altitude of 1,200 metres, is located 5 km before Les Karellis resort. To get to us, it is just a 10 minute car journey. Restaurant, eco-museum, traditional bread oven, church...

Barrière de l'Esseillon, Aussois.
The Esseillon is a natural barrier located between Avrieux and Aussois. During the 19th century, the kingdom of Sardinia had 5 military works built there: four forts and a redoubt with the purpose of protecting Turin, the capital. Today, it is a popular location for "climbing" sports.
Saint Jean de Maurienne and Montricher.
Cycling stage, historical capital of the valley and birthplace of the Maison de Savoie; Saint Jean de Mne has many treasures! Monuments, works of art, famous and remarkable characters make up the rich past of this town which looks quite peaceful.
The village of Montricher also has a rich past; farming, animal rearing, quarries are what made its wealth. The village's eco-museum is also remarkable, both for what it contains and for its design.
5 km below the resort
Reconstruction of the life of yesteryear in the village of Montricher. In a former residence in the heart of the old village of Montricher, come and discover how things used to be done, living quarters, working the fields, wood work... In the basement, the process for making slates is reconstructed, a form of production which survived until the start of the 70s.

Each Wednesday, a guided tour of the village of Albanne and its baroque church is organised. It is possible to get there on foot from Les Karellis. Meet at the Albanne car park at 10am. No sign-up needed, Free
